HILLSDALE, October 26, 2025 – In a heartwarming display of community spirit, The Daily Crumb bakery, a fixture in Hillsdale for over a decade, announced this week that it will donate 100% of its profits for the month of November to the Hillsdale Community Food Bank. The initiative, dubbed “Bakes for Bellies,” aims to support the growing number of local families struggling to put food on the table.

“We’ve seen a noticeable increase in demand at the food bank this year,” said Margaret Olsen, Director of the Hillsdale Community Food Bank. “The rising cost of living is really impacting families, and we’re grateful for any support we can get.”

Owner and head baker, David Miller, explained the decision stemmed from a desire to give back to the community that has supported his business. “We’re incredibly fortunate to have such loyal customers,” Miller said. “This is our way of saying thank you, and helping those who need it most.”

The bakery, known for its artisanal breads, delicious pastries, and welcoming atmosphere, is expecting a surge in customers throughout November. They encourage patrons to not only indulge in their favorite treats but also to consider making a direct donation to the Hillsdale Community Food Bank.
